Chromeo is an electrofunk duo based in Montreal, Canada composed of P-Thugg (real name Patrick Gemayel) on keyboards, synthesizers, and talk box, and Dave 1 (real name David Macklovitch) on guitar and lead vocals. Their second album Fancy Footwork is their mainstream breakthrough. Chromeo released their third studio album entitled Business Casual on September 14, 2010. Chromeo is set to tour UK in 2011. Appearances

• On October 17, 2007, they appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and performed "Bonafide Lovin'."
• On June 17, 2008, they made a second appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live and performed "Fancy Footwork."
• Chromeo appeared on NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien on November 7, 2008, performing an unplugged version of "Momma's Boy" with an eight piece string section.
• In February 2009, they appeared on the Nickelodeon JR show, Yo Gabba Gabba, with an original song about washing hands. Certain stylistic elements resemble those of the 80s song "Meeting in the Ladies Room" by Klymaxx.
• In February 2010, Fancy Footwork appeared in the latest advertisement for VO5 Extreme Style
• On August 15, 2010 Chromeo played a set on the Twin Peaks stage during the second day of the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco, CA.
• In 2010, "Bonafied Lovin'" was featured in Konami's Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 3 and the arcade edition of Dance Dance Revolution X2
• On September 20, 2010 Chromeo appeared on CBS's Late Show with David Letterman performing Night By Night, from the new album, Business Casual.

• October 2010 - Track "Don't Turn The Lights On" features on the EA game time "FIFA 11"
• The song Fancy Footwork appears in the movie Step Up 3D. The song is also on the soundtrack to the movie.

Collaborations

• In 2006, the group was featured in DJ Mehdi's song "I am Somebody."

• Chromeo and Daryl Hall of Hall and Oates teamed up in the Summer of 2008 for a jam session on Live from Daryl's House. They will be teaming up once again for a live performance at the 2010 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, TN.
